Teaching
My little four year old niece said to me one day when I put her in my car. "Your car is very dirty, don't you clean your car." Then she proceeded to tell me how to get to our destination in case I didn't know. The entire root she instructed me where to go. This coming from a four year old! What kind of exposure had occurred for a four year old child to worry about the cleanliness of my car? Why wasn't she more thrilled about the car journey instead of worrying if I knew how to get her to the destination? She could enjoy the ride as most little children would do, stick her head into the wind and look at all the fascinating things that go by. Point out all the cute doggies along the rout. I did not expect this type of behaviour from such a small child, but habits can be picked up very early in life. I am sure she was not born nor did she display this concerned attitude when she was a baby. It is interesting to me that most parents think, if they do not show or teach their children how to live right, these little genius creators will get it all wrong, muck it up and fail. Is this their natural way? If we do not put them on the right path, will a child naturally fail? Or do they have their own internal guidance system that is clearly showing them what is good and what isn't. Do we, as we teach our children to talk, read, spell and write, also teach them to worry, compete, because there can only be one winner? Do we teach them about lack, because there is not enough for everyone, and teach our children about, loss and failure as we worry if we will get what we want? Is it more important that children receive a A grade in mathematic than retaining a knowing that they are loved and supported and life is a joy and will answer their every desire? Success
I think the children come forth to teach us.!! I think success is their natural way. it is an inbuilt program we all come forth with. Most children do not fail to learn to walk, talk, learn and so on. It is natural for them to succeed in everything they attempt. So why does it become so much harder when they get older? Do the lessons get harder? Is it as easy for an adult to learn a new language as it is for little children? Same lesson different effort.
My neighbour told me a story about her anorexic and bulimic younger self. As a young girl she was so worried about her self-worth and the opinions of her family, friends and the community she became completely overwhelmed. So she thought she could remedy this by controlling her body image. But one day, so fed up with the worry and the torture she was putting herself through, she decided she was going to heal herself. she told me. "I took myself on a trip around Australia where no one knew me. The trip lasted for a year or so and in the time I was away I was completely healed form this devastating condition. I forgot about who I was at home and instead had many wonderful adventures and met lots of fascinating people."
I remember when I was a younger girl traveling the globe, the feeling of freedom I felt from the thought no one knew me or who I had decided I was . "All my insecurities and fears are not known to the stranger overseas, I can be anyone I choose to be." I thought.
Recapture
Let us recapture the knowing we came forth with? We can play any role we wish to, mother father, brother, daughter, student, employee, boss, but lets play it with an absence of fear and feel instead the freedom and knowing we can have it all. ALL OUR WISHES WILL COME TRUE. Let us practice relaxing more and worrying less. Let us focus on the perfection of life and not what needs changing or fixing. Let's look through the eyes of our younger connected selves and remember our birth right to have it all. Our ability to learn anything easily and effortlessly. Remember the Universe Loves and adores us and through the powerful Law of attraction is bring to us what ever we desire. Let us reconnect to the genius within us and live an enthralling existence.
There is nothing you are supposes to do, only what you want to do. Be easy about life and enjoy the journey. Look for the cute little doggies along the path.
